MediaTek Appoints Kristin Taylor as Vice President in charge of Industry Analyst Relations

TAIWAN, Hsinchu – 3 September, 2013 – MediaTek Inc., (2454: TT), a leading fabless semiconductor company for wireless communications and digital multimedia solutions, today announced that Kristin Taylor has been appointed as Vice President of Corporate Marketing. In her new role, Kristin will lead worldwide Analyst Relations and US Marketing Communications. She will report to Johan Lodenius, the Chief Marketing Officer of MediaTek.

"Kristin’s depth in the wireless industry coupled with her relationships with the important analyst community is essential to our plans for worldwide recognition as a technology and innovation leader in the coming decades” Lodenius said.

Kristin started her career in the technology sector with AT&T and Lucent. She spent 15 years at Qualcomm, leading the development of the company’s first computing product and spurring the creation of a computing division. Kristin headed Qualcomm’s worldwide Analyst Relations department for a number of years before leaving the company to start a consulting practice.
